Welcome to an exciting time of planning a day to remember.

If you ceremony is a wedding, it is important that it be a happy,relaxed and  stress-free event that has personal meaning for yourself and you partner and makes your guests feel part of the proceedings. I have a number of suggestions as to how we can achieve a ceremony that is "you".

You are free to choose vows, rituals and readings to make it a very individual wedding, but you must incorporate certain elements which satisfy the legal requirements for marriage in Australlia. One of these requirements is that you provide two witnesses over 18 to hear your vows and sign the official documents.

As a fully qualified Civil Marriage Celebrant and member of the Professional Celebrants Association, I am familiar with the legal requirements and will ensure that the paperwork and ceremony are in accordance with them.

On your big day, the ceremony will usually take between 20 and 30 minutes from the bride's arrival to  presentation of the certificate and the guests' congratulations to the newly married couple. Many hours will have gone into making sure it is a special time. However, if you'd like it short and sweet with just the legal elements, I'm happy to comply and charge accordingly.

Whether you choose a secular ceremony or one with the spiritual elements of prayer, scripture readings and a blessing, I have a library of resources for you to choose from.Your ceremony can involve friends and family in a variety of elements or be short and intimate. You may wish to include a rose ceremony, hand fasting, candle lighting, sand blending, or other rituals. Where appropriate, you may wish to include children in a ceremony for a blended family or to acknowledge loved ones who are no longer with us. Your ceremony can be indoors or out, in a garden or on a beach or a mountain. It's your choice.

I perform ceremonies in Brisbane, Logan, Redlands and on the Gold Coast. In addition to marriages, I perform Naming Ceremonies,Renewal of Vows, Life Celebrations and other ceremonies which mark life’s special events.
