Congratulations!!

Your wedding day will be one of the most special and remembered times of your life! It is a time to share the love and joy you have found with your family and friends.

As your celebrant, we would work together to design and create a truly fabulous ceremony at your choice of venue, whether it be simple, traditional, informal, even a contemporary style wedding – one that you will cherish for many years to come! I have many resources to help us design your ceremony including example ceremonies, readings, poems and wedding music.

Where to from here…..

I would love to meet with you and your partner for an obligation free meeting. To book your date, you will be required to pay a non refundable deposit. This can be done during our next meeting (approximately one-hour). In this meeting we will fill out the legal documentation – the Notice of Intended Marriage form (which must be completed one month and one day before your wedding day). For this I will require the following documents: -

• original birth certificates (or passports where applicable)
• divorce/death certificates (where applicable)
• other documentation may be required depending on your circumstances

We will then meet again at your rehearsal (if required) or at my home to go through the final ceremony. We can then make any necessary changes before the wedding day!

Questions you may want answers for:-

• Does the bride and groom have to exchange rings?
• Does the bride have to be ‘given away’?
• If I am booking our honeymoon, should I book it in my married name or maiden name?

Inclusions in my fee:-

• a personalised ceremony created with your input/ideas
• preparation of all the legal documentation before, during and after the ceremony
• a meeting before the wedding at my house (this is when the first of the legal documents are prepared)
• a ceremony information folder to borrow with many examples of vows, poems etc
• unlimited email and phone contact
• A state of the art PA System and microphone (which can be used for music to be played on during the ceremony on a CD or MP3 player)
• a rehearsal at either the venue, your home or my home (in Brisbane metro, extra fees may apply outside this area)
• a copy of your ceremony
• a Presentation Marriage Certificate on the day
