Once you have chosen me as your celebrant, the first step is to lodge a legal document called the "Notice of Intended Marriage".  By law, this must be signed in front of a registered marriage celebrant (or JP, Barrister/Solicitor, Doctor, Police Officer) one month prior to the wedding date. I will provide you with this form.

Working with you to design your ceremony may necessitate two or three meetings. You are entitled to unlimited consultations via phone and email. If you prefer to develop your own ceremony, I will provide a draft of the ceremony for you to peruse and make any changes before the final get-together, usually 2 to 3 weeks before the wedding.

At this meeting, we will go through all the legal documents to make sure everything is in order. You will also have the option to make any final changes at this time. If you wish we can also have a rehearsal to make sure you are comfortable with the flow of the ceremony, position of bridal party and anything you may feel needs confirmation.
